APT Manufacturing

The CSM™ (Connected Smart Manufacturing) is an intelligent manufacturing system using the latest Industry 4.0 connected advanced manufacturing equipment and techniques to produce a promotional product your school can be proud to have it's name on. The system proposed is a four-robot manufacturing cell, working in conjunction with a Fanuc CNC Robodrill and utilizing one APT MTEC machine tender CERT cart and three APT LR Mate CERT cart bases, modified to perform the tasks described.

The MTEC (Machine Tending Educational Cell) teaches students real world advanced automation integration. They will utilize the on board I/O built into the Fanuc LR Mate to syncronize operations with a Fanuc CNC Robodrill.

This CERT cart was designed specifically for the exciting new line of Fanuc CRX collaborative robots. It provides a convenient workspace for teaching collaborative robot operations. The CERT cart includes a Swivellink holder for the teach pendant and a customized mouting solution for the Fanuc controller/transformer. The side tables fold down to allow the cart to pass through a standard doorway.

The MTEC SIM (Machine Tending Educational Cell with Fanuc CNC Simulator) teaches students robot to CNC communication in a classroom environment using a live Fanuc LR Mate robot integrated with a Fanuc CNC Simulator.

This is the FIRST robotic welding training device with full Fanuc CERT support!

Developed in partnership with Miller Electric, Fanuc, and APT Manufacturing, this is the perfect way to introduce automation into your welding program.

The AM CERT (Advanced Manufacturing CERT Cell) brings a full industrial robotic experience to your training program. Students learn to work with safety devices such as perimiter fencing, area scanners, and Dual Check Safety programming. In addition, robot integration with industrial automation devices including 2D iRVision, Swivellink conveyors, and safety PLCs is taught.

PATHWAY TO CSM!!!

The PLC/HMI Trainer is designed to teach students industrial wiring techniques. Students begin with a bare electrical panel, install PLC and HMI devices, then properly route and label wiring. This Rockwell Automation/Allen Bradley control panel electrical project kit is the perfect lead in to prepare your students for a Rockwell Industry Certification!

APT Manufacturing offers a selection of conveyors outfitted with a variety of sensors which will integrate with your Fanuc robots and increase the opportunities for students to learn about integrated automation.
