Don’t Call It a 3D Printer: Groundbreaking EVO Additive Manufacturing Center Has Arrived

MEET THE EVO

Airwolf 3D makes history yet again with the release of its fifth generation machine: The EVO Additive Manufacturing Center. Packed with innovative features, the EVO is the fastest, strongest, highest-performing desktop additive manufacturing system in its class.

“The EVO is completely new and it’s unlike anything out there,” explained Airwolf 3D Co-Founder and CEO Erick Wolf. “We took the technology that we perfected with our prosumer line of 3D printers and leveraged it to develop a machine that’s light years beyond anything else on the market. The EVO is faster, stronger, and more accurate than any desktop 3D printer — it delivers a premium 3D manufacturing experience at less than half the cost of machines that offer equivalent performance. Plus, it’s packed with new technology that dramatically changes the way we manufacture, including the ability to work in metals. The EVO far surpasses the capabilities of a traditional desktop 3D printer. It’s a true desktop Additive Manufacturing Center.”

EVO was designed from the ground up with the user in mind. For schools and professionals who have asked us to set a higher standard for a “healthy” 3D printer, we’ve installed oversized HEPA and Carbon filters for active containment of UFP and VOC emissions. We made the machine easy to control with a new full-color 7″ MATRIX Touchscreen display. We also made it even easier to manufacture larger parts in more materials — including metal and soluble support — faster than ever, thanks to the EVO’s Tri-Heat™ Enclosed Build Environment, dual high-flow AX2 hot end, and Spotlight Manufacturing Vision System with ultra-bright, dimmable focused LEDs.

From its unitized, 100% aluminum frame and one-piece steel build plate to its oversized 1,000-watt power supply and automatic circuit breaker, EVO is built for performance. Manufacture parts up to EVO’s industry-leading 50-lb weight limit and rest assured the machine will carry out mission-critical applications even in ultra-harsh environments.
