K-12 Automotive Technology Programs and Equipment

Programs are anchored in hands-on training systems and interactive curriculum that span the full range of modern vehicle technology, from core systems like engines, braking, steering, suspension, and transmissions all the way through CAN bus networks, hybrid systems, and full electric vehicles. Students develop the skill employers value most, diagnostics and fault-finding, using real test equipment and fault-insertion trainers that let them troubleshoot realistic system faults safely and repeatably. Hands-on hardware is paired with an extensive ASE-aligned digital curriculum library, and a dedicated electric-vehicle lab takes students from EV fundamentals through complete vehicle systems, charging stations, and battery technology.

The program supports both light-vehicle and medium- and heavy-duty truck instruction, and labs can be tailored around a program's focus, whether that's auto electronics, engine performance, diagnostics, or emerging EV technology. This alignment to ASE industry certification gives students a clear path toward the credentials employers and postsecondary programs expect.
